Titel: Hot water preparation by using brazed heat exchangers
Indlæg af: rekuper efter Jan 11, 2008, 05:56
Hello,

I am going to prepare hot water by using heater core by OPOP biocomfort16. Due to the fact I already have electric hot-water boiler I am going to buy the compact brazed heat exchangers to avoid the purchase any buffer tanks.
(http://www.reflex.de/reflex/html/index.php?lang=2&tp=23&link=14_3&arrow=blau&loc=Heat%20exchanger%20systems&loc2=reflex%20'longtherm'%20-%20compact%20brazed%20heat%20exchangers).

Does anybody some experiences with instalations - scheme connection?

Kind regards

Jir

Normally requires a brazed heat exchangers some buffer,
when you open for the hot water , you use lot of energy ,
that energy must come from the pellets burner and boiler,
but the boiler contents only a few litres of hot water,
so you will empty you storage of energy fast.
The boiler temperature will drop, before the burner has adjusted to up the maximum output.
So if you going to use lot of hot water for long time ,
I will suggest a hot water tank on 200-300 litre.

That is truth. That´s why I have already the electric hot-water boiler (200 l) so I do not need any second one. And one more thing - I can use brazed heat exchanger for sun energy in summer.
I found some connection examples on web sites from reflex manufacturer.
I am going to try it and then publish in this forum. Would it be possible?
