StokerKontrol 1.81 and Scotte
« Dato: Aug 15, 2010, 13:06 »
Hello all,

I still have some problems with my Scotte-burner and would appreciate some help.
The values under Extras are:
P: 9,0
I: 5,0
D: 1,0

Under Oxygen I have the following values:
Oxygen-correction low: 25
Oxygen-correction medium: 25
Ocygen-correcition full: 35
correct. time: 3 sec
oxygen-P: 0,9
oxygen-I: 24

The graphic is attached.
First problem is I can't get oxygen under 10%
Second problem is the low oxygen after the start which means a lot of black smoke.

Which values should I change to make my system better?

Thnx
Wolfgang

If I understand this correctly then the 'Leistung' (danish: 'Ydelse') is almost 100% during the shown graph.

I don't think oxygen control on a Scotte system is meant to be the main control system.

I think you may need to turn of the oxygen control and tune the system in a basic way before turning the oxygen control on again.

I.e. first do tuning by weight pellets for 6 minuts and entering the value in the control. What version of the control do you have? 6.xx ?

Then maybe tune after colour of ashes, visible smoke from the chimney and/or size and colour of flame. Then perhaps PID parameter influence on the graph. And when you have something you like then you can turn on the oxygen control system. The oxygen control will help to keep the graphs you have.

A long way I know :-)

Thanks Frank.

I will now first try to optimize the Scotte without oxygen-control.
And yes, as I have a 800 liter buffer the burner is normally working with 100% all the time, until the buffer is heated up.
The drops in the temperature come from the 73°C-3-way-valve between Scotte and buffer.
