FlowMeter for RTB v13
« Dato: Mar 31, 2020, 14:57 »
Hello,
i've found only some old post. Someone is using the flowmeter with an RTBv13? The original are discontinued so I'm looking for something else.
I've found them on aliexpress, like these:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32999892895.html
But, honestly, I prefer to buying something more "durable" or quality made. I don't want to dismount it in some months because I've paid it only 4€ :)

Or maybe someone had one of this running since lot of years :)

thank you a lot!

I have one, or rather 2 one on the boiler, the other on solar heat.
They work fine and stable. Whether they are accurate is another matter.

It's the same type, or it was plastic that came with the boilers once, so the manufacturer must think they're good enough.

It depends where you expect to mount it. Spec says: "Water quality requirement: ≤60°". I do not see this as very useful for a boiler installation. Maybe if mounted in return from heating installation.

I would like to mount it on the return (as manual said), but the T is between 55/60°C because of the VAC.
Probably I can find another cheap one from china that support that T, but I prefer something more durable :)
@383CI do you have one of that cheap?

thanks!

Yes, as described, I have 2 of the exact type you link to.

Min is mounted where t = + 60 it seems excellent. It measures directly on forward consumption, not within the boiler loop. If you want it colder it can just be placed just outside the boiler loop

Ok, I'll give them a try :)
I think that I'll place it inside the loop to count all the production of the boiler.

thank you again for your hint!
