The only thing missing from V10 to be as good as or better than V6 is a way to communicate with it locally. I really do understand that local communication is not a priority, and could be hard to keep supported when the firmware is rapidly evolving, but I also really hope that it will be added back (serial or ethernet) when things stabilize. It was the one thing that made NBE stand out from the competition.
Btw, the PellMon database is one fixed size 7.4 megabyte file, containing 15 years of measurement data. The time resolution gets progressively worse the older the measurements are to make that possible, but you hardly need 30 second resolution any more for 15 year old data. No need for gigabytes...
