I had a pleasant surprise in my mailbox today, a new chip from NBE. I don't know why I got this gift, but thank you very much NBE! :)
My current chip is <4.16 and the new one is 4.99F.
Now before I swap my chip to new one, can somebody tell me what new features I can expect form the new chip?
And are there any things I have to do before or after I install this new chip?

Hi Egon,
v4.99 is the last version in the v4.xx series and have some improvement in different areas.
However one of the most important improvements is the change in the oxygen-regulation.
In earlier versions the oxygen regulation was linked only to adjust the dosing of pellets, but from v4.99 it is linked both to adjustment of the blower and the dosing of pellets.
This improvement has given a much faster responce to changes in the process, fast responce in the air-flow and a slow constantly adjustment of the dosing of pellets.
Before changing the chip, remember to save your parameters/setup, either by writing them down or save via stokerkontrol.
Best regards
Michael
