Hi All

I am located in Ireland so apologies for the post in English.

My burner stopped working last weekend and I found the heater element was burned out. I replaced the element but now I am Getting 4 dashes (----) instead of it starting. I have replaced the optical sensor and also the plug connector to the burner but still no joy. The auger motor normally runs for a second when plugged in ( possibly a self test). This does not happen any more so it looks like the controller is not providing power. 
I disconnected and reconnected the plug to the burner with power on so is it possible I "spiked" the controller and did damage?
All wires are connected and the fuse is ok.

It is an old orange controller with red segmented LED display.

I have searched all day on google For a replacement but cannot find a one for sale and parts are very difficult to find in Ireland.

Does any body have a link for replacement controllers or is there another model that I can fit instead?

Or can these be repaired or tested

Hi Fionn

It's an old V4 controller you have.

I can recommend to replacing it with a V7.
It is a much more modern and up-to-date mcontroller, with a lot of new features.

NBE has no dealers in Ireland, but I wonder if we can't find a dealer in Denmark who will send a control to you.

Hedestoker is one of the major dealers in Denmark, you can try to contact them.

It is very difficult to find parts here. I'll Try your link and see if they ship to Ireland.
The date on my board is 1/11/2004 so its probably time to update it

Hi.

I Have E mailed Hedestoker twice inquiring if they ship to Ireland and a cost for shipping but have not got a reply.
Does anybody know if the Company is still open or are they closed due to COVID?

There had been a slight lack of communication at Hedestoker.

Email received and they do ship to Ireland.  ;D

I have my V4 controller connected to a zero volt timer to control it. 
Do you know if this same timer (zero volt) can be used to control the V7 controller?
Is there a wiring diagram available to connect the 12 pin print board to the fan and the rest of the parts?

And yes, there is an zero volt "ext" connection on the V7 print, but there is an very nice timer function in V7  ;)
