Helldivers 2 – Worth It in 2025?

Hey folks, been eyeing Helldivers 2 for a while now. Thinking of grabbing it during the summer sale – but is it still worth getting into now, or is the community already dying out? @BrockDarcy Totally still worth it! The devs dropped some solid updates recently – new biomes, better matchmaking, even more brutal enemies 😅
I was worried the player base would vanish after a few months but nope, lobbies are still active (especially weekends). Also – if you're going solo, maybe don't... friendly fire is very real in this game lol.

Yup, Helldivers 2 is still a blast. Just played last night and got absolutely wrecked by Terminid swarm on Suicide Mission. 10/10 would die again 😂

The only real issue is learning curve. If you don't read up on enemy types and team roles, you'll just end up shooting your squad in the back. There's a handy wiki here btw:

Haha appreciate the warning. I'm used to chaos (played a ton of Deep Rock), but friendly fire + aliens sounds like pure pain 😂 I've got a couple friends who might join in too, so co-op should help soften the learning curve. Also, totally unrelated but since you guys seem into casual stuff between games – I've been messing around with bonus sites like this one lately: https://sweepstakescasinos.co.uk/bonuses/. Pretty chill way to unwind after getting blown up by your own airstrike. Just sayin'.

Lmao I literally blew up half my team yesterday with a misplaced Eagle Airstrike – so I get what you mean 😂
Also thanks for the link, man. Will check it out after my next "tactical failure." Btw, Brock, if you grab the game – get the flamethrower stratagem early. It's chaotic but soooo satisfying.

Flamethrower = instant fun. Just try not to torch the drop pod 😅
Honestly, the game shines in co-op. If your buddies join, it's even better. Lots of unintentional comedy.
