Adjusting P and I parameters
« Dato: Jan 15, 2013, 12:06 »
Hello everybody,

At first, I would like to introduce myself: My name is Alberto, I am from Spain and work at Greencalor as technical responsible. We distribute NBE products in Spain.

I have been reading this forum for a long time, learning from all of you so I have to say thank you!

Now we have sold some boilers and therefore I have some questions about P and I parameters. Until this moment we use to define their values in an intuitive way... but on the last installation, boiler water takes very long time to reach the desired temperature. We have defined P: 2,5 and I: 0,8... and the burner works at 50% power with boiler temperature= 55º (being desired temperature: 70º) It was a bit confusing.

My question is: What is the best way to define this parameters???? There is any combination to arrive to the desired temperature faster??

Thanks in advance  :)
