Is there a battery in the v13 tablet? My tablet does not work without a connected charger. Is it correct?

All electronic needs power to work..
I havent seen a tablet without build in battery, and i'm pretty sure that there is one i yours aswell..

If is was me, i would  contact the company who has sold it to you..
