Woody boiler 30kw MOUSE STAIRCASE

at hedestoker they show the complete set I have installed:
Scotte 24kw burner with a woody 30kw boiler (with mouse staircase).

At HEDESTOKER they show efficiency for:
Virkningsgrad ved 16 kW: 94,0 %
Virkningsgrad ved 30 kW: 90,0 % ( der skal tilkøbes musetrapper)

MY QUESTION:
why less effiency with 30kw and mousetrap ?

NEXT QUESTION:
What is the use for the MOUSE TRAP, i have this thing installed in my boiler and i wonder what would happen if i get them out of the boiler and try to run the boiler without the mousetrap?

High kW = more energy and air = harder for the boiler to absorb = lower efficiency.

I think that the mouse traps make the smoke (= energy) stay longer in the boiler. This will also lower the chimney temperature

youre explanation seems very reasonable and I do understand this.

For the moment i will firstly try the blower settings and leave the mousetrap.

You never know maybe my high consumption came from a BAD MOUSETRAP and the MOUSE eat all of my PELLETS....
